- Warehouse Management System (WMS) – controls everything within the four walls of the CSC. Includes inventory at a location specific level as well as direct labor management and their work assignments.
- Distribution Management System (DMS) – controls the Order-to-Cash process between the CSC and the health system, the Procure-to-Pay process between the vendors and the CSC, and the inventory management of the CSC at a global level.
- Demand Planning and Forecasting to set the optimal level of inventory at an item level to ensure the highest of actual fill rates. Achieve rates consistently above 99%....unadjusted.
- Delivery Management to ensure item tracking through-out the delivery process
- Point-of-Use (POU) systems that can tie directly into the CSC’s Distribution Management System and Demand Planner. This will provide an integrated view of all inventory levels, leveraging the system’s Demand Planning capabilities and more sophisticated replenishment methodologies.
